Funkyland New Music Release
New electronic funk!
Funkyland New Music Release

I am very happy to announce Funkyland New Music Release!  New electronic funk music composed by Nora Berg.  There are lots of vocal samples in this song giving it a more human element.  Also I am a big fan of 1970’s -80’s disco funk groups like Earth wind and Fire, KC and the Sunshine Band,  and the Brothers Johnson.  Above all, this song is a tribute to all these great bands and musicians.  Without a doubt their influence has helped me become a better songwriter!

Furthermore I would like to thank you very much for your continuing support.  I am very grateful to anyone who gives my electronic music a listen.  I have been composing music since the late 1970’s and I have lots of writing energy left to give.  In addition, with over 75 songs available to you I am hoping one of these tunes will make it on a playlist of yours!

In conclusion thank you for visiting my Ecotones blog.  It would be fantastic if you were to subscribe and also share your favorites posts with your friends.

Sebastian Beach

Sebastian beach
love the blue colors
Sebastian beach

Coming back from a trip to Nanaimo we stopped at Sebastian beach.  The blue colors were spectacular and the view was magnificent.

Sebastian Beach shoreline
rocky shore

An easy beach to walk and lots of shells and rocks to beach comb.  There are private homes on this beach but many are well hidden behind greenery and beach logs.

Sebastian Beach waves
beach waves

Also this beach area would be a fantastic place to kayak or paddle board with some gentle waves hitting the shore today.  The water is fairly shallow on the beach side which would be good for kids.  A little deeper out and the swimming is great!  Be careful on the rocks which are very slippery when wet.

interesting sandstone rocks

I love to walk on the sandstone rocks with all their wonderful patterns and shapes.  On one side you can look deep into the ocean and if you are lucky,  see some sea creatures.

Sebastian Beach North Views
views to the north

Views to the north Courtenay area are clear and spectacular.  You will definitely be amazed by all the nature vibes.

In conclusion, take a quick trip to Sebastian beach next time you are near Lantzville on Vancouver Island.  Besides the beautiful views it is a nice location for a coffee break or a picnic.
