Creating this Wild Pacific Cove nature mandala while staying home. Lots of time for inspiration now!
Original Wild Pacific Cove photo below. I took this photo while hiking the Wild Pacific Trail in Ucluelet, Canada. A fairly easy ascent brings you to breathtaking views of the wild pacific coast. I can’t wait to get back there again soon!
Nature is an amazing place to spend time especially for a Terrace Beach sunset! After a wonderful day hiking the Wild Pacific Trail we took another walk to the beach for this spectacular sunset.
Beautiful Pacific Rim sunset
Terrace Beach is located in the town of Ucluelet on the Pacific Rim of Canada. It is a wonderful place during the day for beach-combing, paddle boarding or just to enjoy the sun and surf. The sunsets are fabulous here and I am thankful to see this particular one.
Terrace Beach sunset colors
Fall is the time for many different colors especially during sunset. Chill out on the beach and enjoy the atmospheric peacefulness. The moment of the sun setting had an ethereal presence about it.
Sunset love
Enjoying a sunset is easy everywhere so take the time to catch one in your nature areas. You will be happier that you did because nature is the mirror image of spiritual reality. Being in nature makes you feel better!
Thank you for visiting my blog! I am very grateful for your support!
A beautiful day for a short hike at Moorecroft Park! The ocean and mountain views are magnificent. Spring is in the air.
Ocean views
On the Eastern side of Vancouver Island this park offers views of the British Columbia mainland and Georgia Strait. Great place for kayaking or paddle boarding.
Rocky shores
The shores and beach is very rocky making it a great place to warm up in the sunshine. Also a great place to find some privacy and serenity.
Many Arbutus trees are present on the shoreline. This indicates some major wind in the winter months. Today there is a slight breeze which is perfect to check out the inland trails.
Spring forest moss
Throughout the forest bright green moss envelopes the ground. After a wet winter this moss is doing very well. The deep forest is so peaceful.
Moorecroft Park map
Moorecroft Park is easy to hike and there is a visitor map right at the parking lot. Take the time to visit this small but beautiful natural park on Vancouver Island.
Located in the Pacific Rim National Park on Vancouver Island is a beautiful piece of nature called Florencia Bay beach. A short walk in to the beach brings you into a natural paradise of sun and sand. I have been visiting this beach for many years and it is still very untouched and natural.
This beach is very easy to walk and is surrounding by trees, sun, and surf. What more could you want in life? Listening to the sound of the water breaking in on the shore is very relaxing and clears your mind. As humans we think too much. Calming the mind is important to your health.
Driftwood man
Lots of driftwood washes up here and some artistic folks enjoy the peaceful atmosphere to create their masterpieces. I was very impressed with the above Driftwood man. He stood tall on the beach and appeared as a watcher of all activities. I have seen similar driftwood creatures on other beaches but this art is fantastic.
This is a perfect beach for a long walk when the tide is low. There are lots of interesting shells, rocks, and sea creatures to be seen. In addition this is a fantastic beach to go play outside!
I hope you get a chance to visit your favourite beach this weekend. Nature soothes and heals the tired human soul. Above all being beside or in the ocean is my Zen place to be.
I am very grateful to all of you who visit my blog. I am very happy to share my experiences of nature with you. Please comment and share with your friends. Thank you very much!
We really enjoyed a beautiful spring day down at the Nanaimo Harbor. The blues from the ocean below and sky above were spectacular. We also found lots of small shops to shop. As well as shopping many people were enjoying the beautiful sunshine.
harbor views
A nice seawall walk at the waters edge takes you as far as you wish to walk. There are lots of benches to sit on to enjoy a coffee and the view. This is a peaceful and serene place in the middle of a city.
Bastion built in 1853-55
Standing tall in the harbor is the Bastion which was built by the Hudson’s Bay Company to defend its coal-mining resources. We couldn’t go inside the building since it was shut for the winter. This gives us a reason to come back again!
